I hope that you had a stupendous Saturday! Tomorrow is coming soon.

Many times the family of God shows up at the doors of the church expecting the preacher to pray a healing prayer over us.  However, we have the living inside of us. We must be willing to humble ourselves before the Lord. Prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit and know that He alone heals, seals, and delivers. We should also be specific in our prayers. “Lord you know the deal is not adequate!” When we want the bastions of hounds of hell to stop in their track and whimper, we must pray specific Holy SPirit filled fire burning prayers. Be persistent in our prayer life. Not just pray when people are sick. Call on Him for Him to maintain His hedge of protection around our persons and our family members. The enemy knows that the fastest way to lead a child of God off the path that God has placed them is to attack their family. So tell Him to back off! Declare to Him that he is not in control of you and your family, God is! Then expect that prayer to be answered. Don’t wimp out by saying’ “I hope God heard my prayer and will answer it. Remember Daniel!

Daniel 10:12, “12 Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words.” Read the entire story here. Daniel 10 NASB

Sometimes The Lord decides not right now. You have some growing to do. Don’t stop praying. God hears and answers ALL prayers. So, tomorrow, when you go to your places of Worship Thank Him for who he is in Your life and how he is working to make things work for your good.

Addressing Food Insecurity

#Hunger #Foodinsecurity #FeedThemAndTheyWillCome

Food insecurity is a frightful experience for adults, seniors, and families with children who have financial challenges or cannot work due to health problems.  This ministry in partnership with The Agape Family Life Center of Hardeeville delivers bags of food to senior citizens every week.  Space in this vehicle is limited.  So, we request that you pray with us for The Lord to give us a newer and more substantial car.  As well as some other folks who will be willing to partner with us each week to meet the food needs of the hungry.  Scriptures tell us that it is our responsibility to take care of the needy.

  • Matthew 25:35  For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
  • Isaiah 58:10  If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.
  • James 2:14-18 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
  • Proverbs 28:27 Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.
  • 1 John 3:17-18  But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
  • Luke 3:11  And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
  • Matthew 25:37-40 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
  • Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
  • Proverbs 31:20 She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy.

What can you do? DOnate specifically for a car that will be big enough to increase the number of deliveries and also for people who are willing to meet the needs of the people in their neighborhoods. Thank you, friends.  Lord thank you for the provision that you have made for the people whom we serve and the people who come to the Food Pantry every day hoping to have their needs met.  Bless and protect them and their families. Send us workers who are ready to work and help to provide for the requirements of this section of the ministry.  Bless the people who give so generously to the pantry each week. Thank you for the workers who come each week even though they are in pain and not well. They come to serve you by serving others. Protect them as they go forth to their places of abode. Bless the ministry that started the Food Pantry in the first place and also its leaders the “Youngs” in Jesus name Amen.

The Agape Family Life Center Food Pantry is Open Today!
