Leading God’s Way: Truth vs Falsehood.

#Trust #Lies #Falsehood #Truth

God’s word declares Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:14-16 KJV).  This verse shows us that leaders are beacons of light that illuminate the lives of all that are around them. What happens when a leader, who declares that they are a Christian, speaks falsehood? Others, the churched and unchurched, can not glorify God. It is highly likely that they will begin to doubt God and His ability to support His word.  A spiritual leader is a representative of the Kingdom of God. Breaking this commandment makes then ineffective. Spiritual leaders live lives that show the love of God for all people.Galatians 5:6 shows how a spiritual leader unites a community. “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.” It takes a lot of faith to live a life that mirrors this scripture. A life that is mirroring this scripture shows the absolute trust that this person has in the power of God’s love for others. Why? Growing closer to God leads an individual to love ALL people better. For God is love. Growing closer to God also leads a spiritual leader to speak the truth at all times. Their relationships with others stem from trust and love. A spiritual leader never draws attention to themselves and are always truthful in their relationships with others.

Prayer: Lord please give me a heart that speaks the truth at all times regardless of the circumstances. Kepp me filled with the Holy Spirit and use me as a beacon of light that shows your compassion to all people.
