The benefits of the living a life governed by wisdom.
- 1A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
- 2A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.
- 3He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: [Have you ever been on the other end of something that someone who is angry has said, or sent to you in Messenger or in a group e-mail? Generally, when this occurs the recipients of the e-mail or IM is angry. One of 2 things will happen. 1. If there is a leader in the group message they will automatically assume the leader sent it and the leader will bear the brunt of the anger. 2. They will assume that the leader told the sender to send the e-mail or message. It will not matter if the sender of the what. Even if they are reading what the sender of the information states and identifies who made the decision to send it. The leader, if they are truly a leader led by God, will not dress down the sender in front of the other recipients. but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. [This is what usually occurs when one solidly places their foot in their mouth and the mouths of others. It is important that one never communicates when they are angry. If they are honest in their communications, they cannot go back and identify themselves as the sender and that is the end of it. Now if all recipients are operating as Christians should they will NOT respond like a volcano and erupt. It is always best to remain calm and respond in a calm manner. 90% of the time the damage done by the wide lips that caused destruction cannot be repaired because the recipients are not humble enough to accept an apology! It is better to keep one’s mouth shut, fingers of the keyboard until sanity has returned to the brain and the spirit is calm!]

The more a greedy person has the more they want. More adoration, more recognition, more affluence, more social influence. It is not easy to live righteously! However, the more we plead with the Lord for His hand to be upon our lives; to direct our lives; to control our thoughts and our tongue, the easier it will become. Let Him know how much you need Him.
