Our God is a God of all Peoples

Also concerning the foreigner who is not of your people Israel, when he comes from a far country for your name’s sake (for they will hear of Your great name and Your mighty hand, and of Your outstretched arm); when He comes and prays toward this house, hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to you, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You as do Your people Israel…( 1 Ki 8:41–43).

According to Hawthorne, Christ is the crescendo of the story of God’s glory. He will have bought and brought people from every tribe and tongue to honor the Father. (1)

Therefore, we should be doing likewise. Look around your Sunday morning service. Does everyone there look like you? Is it a cross section of thr culture of the community? Are all persons in positions of leadership from only one of Noah’s sons or are they cross cultural representation of your culture?

We must be living examples of God’s word.
