Blot out my transgressions!

#ManRemembersOurSins  #GodForgivesAndForgets #DoUntoOthersWhatGodHasDoneForYou

King David had committed egregious sins. Not only did he commit adultery, he also planned and executed the plan to murder Uriah and all of the men under his command to cover up His sin. After Nathan, the prophet apprised him of the condition of his heart at that moment David cried out to God for forgiveness.

Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God
1For the choir director. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity And cleanse me from my sin.…

The downhearted who thinks that their sin is beyond the beyond will think, “There is no way that God can forgive me now!” But, God told David what the consequences of his sins would be BUT more importantly, he forgave him.  Just read the Psalms and you will see that God does not forgive the way that man forgives. He forgives and forgets.
