Strive for peace….♥ UR Enemies/Neighbors!

When we love our neighbors, peace comes automatically!!

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

What has happened to us living this out in our lives each day? The last 2 years of electioneering has ravaged the USA.  Hate has surfaced to a level that I have never seen before in my lifetime. Social media has become the hate conscience of people who declare the name of Christ. We are losing our testimony because we have forgotten that we do not serve ourselves, our nation, our council, and or our state leaders.  We serve a risen Savior. There is NO problem that He cannot handle. We are all seeking our pound of flesh and the destruction of people whom we consider our enemies instead of praying for our Heavenly Father to melt the hearts of stone that are headed our way.  The still the hands of the enemy that has determined that he/she will destroy us.  Father awaken within us that section of the Holy Spirit the generates a heart of LOVE.  A softened heart that sees each person as a possible child of God.  Gives us the kind of heart that says how do I serve you even when you are determined to destroy me!]

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

You are not a respecter of person Father you love even the people who would spit on the cross, burn the cross on which your Son died, and even the people who state that you do not exist.  The people who call you impotent and a clown still receive your love.  Give us that kind of heart Father.  Give me a heart that prays without ceasing for my enemies.  We are placing our homes, jobs, businesses, and possessions before you and are living in fear instead of living grace-filled lives.  Father give me the power of boldness to speak out when injustices are being committed but more importantly give me a heart that prays for your intervention when this occurs and a willingness to be a shield against the horrors of hatred that are growing in this country.  Remind me daily that I am a citizen of the Kingdom of God before I am a citizen of any country on earth. Remind me daily that you and only you are my king.

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Father if I have been living a life that is the life of a “publican” instead of a child of God, please show me those areas, but more importantly for my soul’s sake burn them out of my heart.

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:43-48 KJV

This Father is my heart’s desire-tobe just like you toward my neighbors.

From our prayer journal for today written by Henry Criss – my pastor.

“In today’s cultural climate, it is easy to forget that the soul of even the Muslim extremist terrorist or white supremacist bigot is precious in the sight of God. As people who have been forgiven by and reconciled with God, even though we were once God’s enemies

Romans 5:10; For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Thank you, Father, for redeeming me from my filth of sin and degradation and bringing me into the Kingdom Family even when I hated your or did not acknowledge you as God.

Colossians 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.

Dear Father when I think of where I was before you reached down and plucked me up from the cesspool of sin in which I wallowed, it just brings tears to my eyes. You did not have to, but you did because thousands of years ago you sent your Son, your only son to die in my place.

HC: we must seek the redemption and reconciliation of others, not their destruction.

Father give me your eyes and your heart for all peoples in Jesus name amen.
