Be A Positive Example.

#Called of #God #Believers

As we walk and talk on this ball of clay we represent more than ourselves. We represent the Kingdom of od. We serve the Almighty. We are His Ambassadors here on this earth. Now, what is an “Ambassador?” An ambassador represents the country, company, or agency that the person works for. They do not have an “opinion” of their own. They state the opinions, views, and concerns of the entity that they represent.

How are they an example? By what they say, how they behave, and how they convey the beliefs of their employer. Timothy was a servant of the Kingdom of God. He was an Ambassador of that kingdom. He lived, and breathe the kingdom work of God. But others who were similar to Timothy did not like his dedication to the purity of The Kingdom in his speech, his work habits, and how he communicated with and dealt with others. So, other Christians, the people who were attacking Timothy were NOT  non-Christians. They were Christians who were not as dedicated as Timothy. Read the entire chapter to under the context of this verse.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [if it is not of God it is from the Devil. If it does not line up with God tells us to do it is from the Devil. Remember that we live by faith and not by Fear.]

The only thing in this world that should be taking of most of our daily minutes each day. Is God’s kingdom work.

1 Timothy 4 KJV

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. 10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 11 These things command and teach. 12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

When we live like ambassadors, it is highly likely that we will not be popular. Well, let me rephrase that! When we are doing that which is right in the sight of the Lord, we will not be accessible to persons who believe that their lives are governed by modern thought. We will be despised. Today it is not accepted to be the person who refuses to post negative things into social media. We seem to have forgotten that just because we are ticked off about something that does not mean that we should inundate social media with our opinions.
