You Are Not the Only One

The fastest way to be heard is to speak with a kind and gentle voice. Yes, if I scream people will hear the noise I am making, but they will not listen intently. Listening intently to what the other person is saying ensures that the person is “heard.” With all of the hatred that is spreading across the world, it is time for us, the church, to be heard. We have an entire chapter in the Bible that tells us how important LOVE  is to all that we do.  If we do not speak through love then everything we say and do will be in vain.

⁸Love never fails.

• But where there are prophecies, they will cease;
• where there are tongues, they will be stilled;
• where there is knowledge, it will pass away. i Corinthins 13 NIV

These are the most powerful gifts in Christian theology, yet they will be ineffective if we do not demonstrate love to others while using those gifts.
