Saved by grace.

Growing closer to Him and learning how to love people better includes understanding that they are also no longer under the law but are saved by grace! Just like us! God has never said “That’s it I’m done with you! You are not growing fast enough for me! You just keep committing the same sin over and over again! Yes, well no one can see it but I can!” No, He has never said that to us! We need to extend the same kind of grace to others that we are receiving from Him!

But what about the next time?

What about the next time we sin? Or are we saying big that we are perfect but everyone else is not?2 Corinthians 5:17  (KJV) says “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Even when we have a relapse we are still a new creature. Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV) declares “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;  his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Don’t live under the shadow of guilt and shame. His grace is greater than all of the sins that we think about – let alone the ones we commit!

Let’s talk about forgiveness and living gracefully with others!
