Have you experieced Pain and loss this week?

TheSufferingJesus #HeSufferedToSetUsFree #RememberTheCross #WeHaveVictoryBecauseofTheCross

I just want you to know that you are not alone. God experienced pain and loss on the day that His Son died.  Loss of any kind is a threat to our emotional stability and existence. As we approach the loss of loved ones I thought that reposting this work might just clarify how deep the Father loves each of us. Many of my friends have experienced a loss this week. The loss of loved ones, or relationships that they valued. Our humanness cannot comprehend the heights and our depths of His love for us.

  1. “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.” 1 John 3:1KJV
  2. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16
  3. “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”  John 15:13
  4.  “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 K JV
  5. “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”  1 Chronicles 16:34

We, the called out ones, have been given the greatest gift that anyone could give to a human being-life.  But not just life eternal life. I hope that this study helps everyone who reads it to comprehend the price that was paid for our freedom from sin! That same price also frees us from worry! Happy Family …worship time!

#WorshipComesFromTheHolySpirit  #TrueWorshipIsNotAboutWhatWeFeel

mothersdayThis Sunday we celebrate the humans who nurture us until we are able to make decisions for ourselves.

The person who was gifted with the super sense of knowing when their child is not at their best. When their child is distressed. When their child is struggling over passing the test. Then this special person teaches their child that they are not alone.

That they do not have to carry that burden alone.

That someone who is even greater and more powerful than their mother has always had their back and the child slide down into the soft warm and comforting arms of Jesus feeling safe and protected. At that instance, they begin the act of worship.

True worship is about what God is saying to us as we worship.

How he is revealing ourselves to us and our growth – even the areas in which we still need to grow-but never in a condemnatory manner.

It is always with the caveat that I love you where you are.

Take my hand and I will lead you through the process where your life becomes an act of worship of me.

Look at how King David planned for the weekly gatherings of the Nation of Israel!

“David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals.

Here is the list of the men who performed this service:

  1. From the sons of Asaph: Zakkur, Joseph, Nethaniah and Asarelah. The sons of Asaph were under the supervision of Asaph, who prophesied under the king’s supervision.
  2. As for Jeduthun, from his sons: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah and Mattithiah, six in all, under the supervision of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied, using the harp in thanking and praising the Lord. (All these were sons of Heman the king’s seer. They were given him through the promises of God to exalt him. God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.) All these men were under the supervision of their father for the music of the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, lyres and harps, for the ministry at the house of God.
  3. Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman were under the supervision of the king.[Visialize a time when the King was the leader of the religious affairs of the nation. Christian leaders lead by example. They don’t multiple vunues and a barrage of counselors – they need to submit to God. David did that. HE ensure that the most precious part of the weekly gatherings of Israel was le by men and women chosen for that purpose. Not everyone can lead a ministry. Not everyone is called to lead worship.  There is worship and then there is singing and they are not the same. One is led by the Hly Sirit and the other is led by the Human Spirit!]
  4. Along with their relatives.—all of them trained and skilled in music for the Lord —they numbered 288. Young and old alike, teacher as well as student, cast lots for their duties. ” ‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭25:1-3, 5-31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

As we gather together as a family can we promise to spend time with at least one person whom we have not spoken to before? Why? That is how brotherly and sisterly relationships within the body of Christ are established. How about inviting someone over for a cup of tea? OR even just a slice of pizza and a cold drink while you share your experiences in Christ. I know of people who are desperate for those kinds of connections.

Think of your human family. What is it like when you have a family reunion? Can we worship together in the same spirit? Worship is about relationships. Our relationship with the Father and our relationships with each other.
