You Are Not The Only One Ministries & Consulting Services Inc. provides the SYMBIS Assessment Service. Just book an appointment. Relationships are not easy to establish and maintain, but God in His infinite wisdom has inspired Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott to write an instrument, and provide the books to support the relationship assessment, as well as provide training for persons to facilitate sessions that help couples establish and maintain healthy Holy Spirit led relationships.

Scriptural References

Ephesians 5:22-33  “22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

This is a lofty Goal. Can you imagine what would happen in this world if all Christians considered their mates with this type of the love? The same type of love that God has for His children. Well, I can! Currently, the divorce rate among Christians is almost as high as non-Christians. “According to religious think-tank Barna Research Group of Ventura, Calif., non-Christians divorce at a rate of 38 percent, Born-again Christians 33 percent, atheists 30 percent and Catholics at 28 percent, according to a recent survey of 3,792 participants.” (https://www.wevorce.com/blog/what-faith-divorces-most/)

Gen 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

Proverbs  5:18-19;12-4;18:22;19:14.

Matthew 19:4-6 “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
