Why are we called to gather together each week? Why are we commanded to gather together? Because our weekly gatherings solidify us as one body. It gives us an opportunity to get to know each other as we serve Him. The weekly gatherings give us a chance to refuel ourselves for the week ahead. Our weekly gatherings proffer us an opportunity to be taught how to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is the icing on our weekly cake. It is the millstone that sharpens the sword so to speak. It is an opportunity for us to fellowship with each other. So, what does the end of your weekly gathering look like? When the last amen is said, what does the building look like 5 minutes later? Is there chatter of is it empty?
