He came to give us peace!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)

Father thank you for your mercy and your grace. Thank you for the peace that comes only from knowing who you are and not just knowing about you and your greatness. We also thank you for those dark nights in our lives when we wonder, and or doubt who we are and why we are doing what we are doing. It is during these times, when we stop speaking so loudly in our minds, that we can hear your crystal clear voice that says,
I know how that pain feels. I experienced it when I saw my son born in the filthy barn. He deserved glory and splendor. I felt it when the king slaughtered all of those children in his attempt to kill my precious son.I felt the deep darkness and depth of blackness on that day when my perfection became polluted with the sins of the world and My Son, My Only Son, was covered with that which I despise. SIN.. the sins of mankind. The sins of every man woman and child that has ever lived from Adam until the day He returns were placed on His head even before He laid in the manger. In fact it was so black that I had to turn my back on him to prevent myself from wiping mankind out again as I did in the flood. Yes my child, you say to us through your word, I know what emotional pain and blackness looks like.
And our Heavenly Father continued, “That is why I tell you-you can have peace. I offer you the peace that you gained when Jesus was beaten with the cat-of-nine-tails.
I offer you the peace that you earned – not that you could earn it off yourself, but because He earned it for you WHEN….
  1. The flesh was ripped from His body as the whip left it each time the scourger beat Him.
  2. They placed that crown with the 3″ thorns on His head. The thorns that pierced His head when they jammed it on, and I Almighty God exercised constraint so you can have peace.
  3. They spat on Him and jeered at Him as your sins piled up on Him.
  4. they laid Him on that tree and hammered those nails into His hands and feet.
  5. They hoisted the cross, and the nails ripped His flesh as His body weight pull Him down. I the El Shaddai felt that pain on that day, but still my hands I constrained.
  6. I offer you the peace that He gave as His life began to flow for after He said to Me, “Eli, Eli lama sabachthani!”. Do you know why he said that? My precious Son, My one and only Son, the Word, that became flesh, the One who spoke all things into existence, the One who created you and said, “It is very good!” Do you know why He said that?
He said it because I turned My back on Him and walked away. He had to experience that darkness alone so YOU, yes you my child can have peace!
Dear God thank you for that sacrifice. I will always have words to say to you even if they are just thank you for the cross! I plead the blood of Jesus over the pain, sickness, and emotional trauma that so many people are going through right now, and I ask you, Father to send someone to these people so they can stop, look, listen, and think about the most precious gift that they have ever received. The gift of Jesus. Let them know that they are not alone in their suffering and that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord. Let them experience the peace that passes all understanding that Jesus died for. Give them an understanding that that peace is just a prayer away. In the mighty and majestic name of Jesus Christ our Savior..the One who was born to die so that we could have perfect peace. Amen!

No room at the inn..how about in our day?

Have you ever looked at the busyness of humanity? What? What does that have to do with no room for the Lord and His parents? Well, that appears to be the same thing today. Just stop for a minute and think about everything that you have seen and heard over the last month. How much time has been spent on giving the most precious gift that we could ever give to another human being? What am I talking about? How much time have we spent sharing the gift of life – eternal life – to people who are headed straight to hell because they do not know Jesus?

We have 24 hours in each day.

  • Did we make room in that day to “be” Jesus to the least of these?
  • Did we make room in our busy schedules to encourage a lonely person?
  •  Or stir up the gift within a person who is not sure how to serve, but more importantly did we make room in the last 24 hours to give Jesus a place in our day and or anyone else’s day?

No, He is not a baby anymore. We have been fooled into focusing on this little helpless baby and have forgotten that He is our risen Lord. The El Shaddai, our protector, our Savior, our deliverer, the most precious gift that God could give us. But when He gave us that gift He expected us to “pay it forward” so to speak and give it to others. Make room in your day today to stir up the gift and or share the gift with others. I will be joining you in that stirring and sharing. It is or most important service assignment from our Father.
