“When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”” -Matthew 2:4-6 NIV
HUNDREDS OF YEARS LATER GOD FULFILLED HIS PROMISE TO ABRAHAM AND DAVID.
I am thankful for the fact that we now have a ruler in heaven waiting for His second and final return to earth. Many of us have lost loved ones who have gone on to be with their King. What a blessing that is. The immediate loss is challenging but the joy that comes afterward is more than we can even begin to describe.
ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE because HE came

Yes, we are happy that those we have lost are with the King, however, it does not make our heart ache any less. We are glad they are no longer in pain or suffering, yet we weren’t ready for them to leave. We find ourselves speaking to them and sometimes we may get an answer, but most of the time it’s silence we hear and that silence can be deafening!! It takes awhile to go through grieving depending on who is lost and what their relationship is to you. The closer the relationship the more difficult it is to get to acceptance!
