An attitude of unforgiveness is sin – don’t allow it to affect you and your walk with the Lord.

An attitude of unforgiveness is not something we can hide. Our facial expressions will betray us. That look of disgust that folks see on our faces when we meet the object of our unforgiveness is called, “SIN”! Friends if you have been wounded by unforgiveness this sis a problem that has a solution. The solution lies within you let (Kollar, 2011).  God already has a solution for this problem. “God is already active in the . . . .you” (Kollar, 2011, p. 62–67). He is already working with you to resolve this issue, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5; Hawkins, 2015). Hand it over to Him go, and know that even if the person knows what they are doing it is not ours to take upon ourselves,” “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you”( Luke 6:27 ESV).

If you have already tried everything there is to be reconciled to this person; just know that “Complex problems do not demand complex solutions” (Kollar, 2011, pp. 67–69). Look for exceptions to the presenting problem of unforgiveness, or a broken relationship; look at all of your other fruitful and emotionally, and spiritually fulfilling relationships “Finding exceptions helps create solutions” (pp. 69–70).  When you have identified these exceptions and realize that the problem is not yours. Lay it at the foot of the cross.

You see when that monkey of darkness takes up residence in our hearts; it will take a Holy Spirit nuclear blast to burn it out. So, take the high road and forgive even the act that we think is unforgivable. The reality is there is nothing except one sin that is unforgivable.  Just remember that you are not the only one who has or is experiencing this challenge. An attitude of unforgiveness is sin – don’t allow someone else’s attitude of unforgiveness to affect you and your walk with the Lord.

Our prayers will be hindered if we are living with an attitude of unforgiveness. Listen to the last few lines of the last part of this song!!
