In the US, this day has been set aside as a day of thankfulness. This morning what are some of the things that you are thankful for-no matter where you live?

I am thankful for:

    • His amazing grace.
    • The life, death, and resurrection of my Lord and Savior – Book of John
    • The plan of salvation that God put in place from before the foundations of the earth were formed: “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8 (KJV)
    • His healing hand on my body and life.  O LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me (Psalm 30:2 NIV)
    • My healthy children and grandchildren.
    • The people whom He has placed in my life who love and take care of me, even though I am so imperfect. He tells me that the cross made me flawless.
  • This ministry and the ministry friends who have been loyal to this ministry through thick and thin.
  • The work God is doing with this blog and the 131 countries that have connected with it to see the Word of God and realize how it is or can be active in their lives. This ministry will remain a soul on fire for the kingdom of God.
    1. Forgiveness – true unconditional forgiveness that has no BUT at the end of the sentence, “I forgive you but…”
  • For all of you.  Be mindful that we must give thanks to the Lord for his mercies endure for every, not just on this day but every day of our lives.

Internal Peace-do you have it?

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15 NIV

God is a peace giver. I am thankful for the fact that He faithfully gives peace to those who seek it. His children are called to peace. Just visualize this reality. All of God’s children living peacefully with each other. What difference would that make to inter-personal relationships? How would that impact our self-health and the emotional and spiritual health of each person? Something to ponder on this Lord’s day. We really don’t have to spend every day rehearsing our hurts. Give them to Jesus and accept the peace that he is extending to all of us. The choice is ours isn’t it?
