The Holy Spirit rocked the church today!

Deuteronomy 15:7 “If there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand from your poor brother; 8 but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks. 12 “If your kinsman, a Hebrew man or woman, is sold to you, then he shall serve you six years, but in the seventh year you shall set him free. 13 When you set him free, you shall not send him away empty-handed. 14 You shall furnish him liberally from your flock and from your threshing floor and from your wine vat; you shall give to him as the LORD your God has blessed you. 15 You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today. 16 It shall come about if He says to you, ‘I will not go out from you,’ because He loves you and your household, since He fares well with you;
Nothing God does surprises me any more…..but He never ceases to AMAZE me! At service this morning we celebrated the Lord our Savior as never before. We invited Him in to our new church building. Now this time last month this was a building that housed a business. This week it was a fully functional church that is all about worshiping our Father! And He showed up with The Holy Spirit and He rocked the house. People were saved! Prayers were answered!
Pastor spoke on Deuteronomy 15:12. (I added verses 7-11 at the urging of our Father). Our church family brought this chapter of the Bible to LIFE today. I am sure that you that are reading this have at one point or another looked back into your past. Were you appalled? Were you speechless? Now look at where you are today! If you are not there yet, you very well could be! But the first step: you stop blaming some one else and ask the Lord…is it me? Am I the one that needs to change? If so reach up for your Father! He states plainly ‘I will not go out from you,’ because He loves you!’ Are you tired of hurting? Are you tired of being sick and tired of being sick and tired? Trust me I feel your gut-wrenching pain. I have been right where you are. Maybe even deeper in the World than where you are right now. And I can guarantee that can change within seconds with just one statement….Father, I am a sinner, and I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive my trespasses as I forgive those whom have trespassed against me. AMEN! And then be prepared to have the grace and fullness that the Lord has in store for you. You don’t have to stay in that deep dark place that you see as the life that you were given. You can come into the LIGHT of Jesus’s grace and fullness! Hallelujah! It is time to “get real” people. There is only one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ. AMEN!!
I want to add this one to what my pastor preached on this morning.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
