Love is an action verb.

God’s love for humanity resulted in him turning his back on His one and ONLY Son. God forsook Jesus when the sins of the world were laid to rest on him. David the Son of God said the same words that Christ said on the cross. He did not just speak about his love for us, he put his love into actionable terms that we could understand!

Mark 15:34 K (KJV) And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

If Christ was willing and ready to give his life for people who did not care for him at all, why can’t we follow these scriptures?

As children of God, we are called to live by a higher standard. Love as he loves us. When we live the word, and not just speak the word, we will be fine! We will be demonstrating love through our actions.

Prayer; Lord let your love shine, flow, and live through me as actions that have an insurmountable impact on the lives of others. Not for my glory but for yours.
