I cannot fix the heart of man. Father help me to be a voice of reason, and an instrument of your peace and love. There is so much hatred out there right now that we are forgetting our purpose. Love God, love man, and speak of the truth of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ who saved us from our sins, who covered us with His blood to prevent the evil that permeates society from enveloping all of us.
The pain that is being caused by the murder of people that could be prevented is dividing the country. Teach us how to apply the forgiveness you have given us to those who are attempting to destroy us on a regular basis.
