“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”
– Romans 15:4
Now we know why studying God’s word is so important to our walk with Him! Hope is a construct that non-believers utilize in a metaphorical manner. Especially when they are facing dire circumstances that are out of their control. The difference is when I use the word hope I use it knowing that there is a specific plan for my life. I also use it knowing “A person’s steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand their own way?”
Proverbs 20:24 NIV
So in the midst of all this social and geopolitical upheaval know that nothing happens in your life without His will and knowledge. Just take a look at Job for a solid example this! We do have hope!
