He is always there.

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.[ Do we really believe this? I know that sometimes I slide to the left of this and panic when things happen instead of breathing in and reaching upward towards the heavenly Father”” -Matthew 28:18-20

He is always there in times of trouble.  We should always remember that, “Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever. Psalm 146:5-6.

I am remembered regularly that –When trouble comes,[I can] focus on God’s ability to care for [me} you. (Author -Charles Stanley)

In every instance he has done so. Never as fast as I want Him to – you know us control freak. We want an answer yesterday already. God teaches me patience when trouble comes. I am grateful for that.  It would be better for me to go to him immediately when trouble comes instead of wondering how I am going to solve this problem.  He must always be my first line of defense.  Allow him to be yours.  It will save you from headaches and stress!

Pray for him to give you the faith to stand firm believing that He will always be there!

This devotional was timely for me today! I read this and this is me! HIS time is not my time for answering prayers. I am thankful that I have others to pray for me, because my focus in praying is always for others. I so want God to help others and make their lives better and I want all the hurt and pain to go away from others. When I pray for others, I am so confident that He is there for them – always. I need to remember that HE is there “always” for me too! 🙂
