June 6, 2011 Challenges are resolved. Thank you Jesus!

Well wonderful readers, I am back in business! Just a little attempt by Satan to sideline us and I wish he would get it through his meager mind, HE HAS LOST THIS BATTLE! But until he gets it, we will continue the fight and take it to the ends of the Earth!

A couple of weeks ago my regular Dr. asked me if I would consider speaking to a professional and I told her of course as long as they had a strong relationship with our Lord and Savior. Well the first week we just kinda covered the basics. The first thing I asked her was,”Are you a praying person?” She got a big smile on her face and said, “Of course”. I was pretty sure we would get along at that point. But I am not sure she is quite ready for me. lol I gave her my business card, with this blog address on it, and explained if she would come to the blog and read it, it would save us hours if not days of covering my issues. She agreed to do that.
This week I went back for my next appointment and she was her same sweet self. (And she really is the sweetest kindest type of person and for that I am very grateful) I was not having a good day that day and I definitely was not my jovial joking self. I asked her if she had had an opportunity to go to the blog and she replied in the affirmative but a maybe a little hesitant…..can’t blame her there. lol But we are moving forth and I feel it will be productive because God is in control.

As many of you know, several weeks ago I had to put to sleep my bestest friend of 15 years. I know I made the ultimate sacrifice in letting him go, it still resonates in my heart. Yesterday my cousin called me and told me that a friend of hers had 3 rescued Chihuahuas and one of them was white. I told her in no uncertain terms, NO! Well she knows what a big softy I am. She went on and on until I agreed to go by and “look” at the puppy but I was not making any promises. I called my sister and told her, “Ok Sis I need you to repeat to me all the things I have told you on why I DON’T want another dog right now.” At first she laughed until she realized I was serious. So she started repeating all of the reasons. But then she told me, Wynette you know the only way you are going to not take that puppy home is pray. She is such a smartie sometimes. LOL Love you Sis. So all the way to the ladies home I prayed. As I pulled up, another car was pulling into the driveway. We met at the door and she asked me if I was the lady that lived there and I explained the no I was there to see the white puppy. So the lady came to the door and we went back to the back to see the puppies. As soon as she opened the door the little white puppy came right over to me. The other two were tearing through the house and barking like made. But not the little white one. My heart was in such turmoil. I asked the owner if these puppies had had their shots and she replied, “No they haven’t.” All I could do was look up and say thank you Jesus. I explained to the ladies that I had not worked in a year and a half and that I was waiting for my SSDI (Social Security Disability Income) to be approved so there was no way I could take the puppy. Of course by this time I have tears streaming down my face. The other lady that arrived at the same time that I had, patted me on the shoulder and told me it was ok. She was a professional dog rescuer and she had already found homes for all three of the puppies. Now you tell me—Does prayer work? How can anyone doubt that our Father loves us more than life itself.

I truly received another blessing from my youngest niece this week. We were about to sit down to eat and she asked me, “Auntie Nett, can I say Grace?” I told her certainly. She is only 6 and has not been around alot of this activity. So my mouth hit the floor and my heart soared as I listened to that little 6-year-old child recite word for word the prayer that I say every time. Thank you so much God for that blessing of that little child and for my opportunity that you gave me to be the one to open that window for you to step in. May she grow into a powerful Prayer Warrior for you!
Never give up!
~ Galatians 6:9 (NIV) *Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

I am sorry that this post was rather long but I was sidelined for several days, so I hope you forgive me. God Bless and Speak the things that are not as if they were!

O Kristy I am truly sorry for the hardship in your life at this time. Just take all of these issues to the feet of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, lay them down and walk away. We will keep you in our prayers to bring you out of this situation. Just remember to speak the things that are not as if they were. Believe it with all your heart and then receive it from the hands of our Father. And never never never give up!
Please feel free to post here everyday if you feel like talking. This is my one focus. I monitor this site and prayer request site and my prayer warriors every day. This is my mission and my addiction. I love the Lord and am privileged to do His work.
