We have all been there at one time or another in our life.
This blog is the result of a joint ministry. It was originally the brainchild of Wynette Hendrick and Joyce Gerald, responding to
the Lord’s call to ministry. Others have joined the ministry team, and Wynette went to join her heavenly Father in 2012. At that
time, Joyce, who had been writing devotionals for the blog since
its beginning, became the primary contributor to the blog.
The purpose of this blog has never wavered. It is to show you that you are not the only one. There are thousands just like you out here and we are searching for a way to ease the pain. A way to reach out and not feel alone. We will introduce you to the one entity that is our salvation. Jesus Christ. Our Father will never forsake us and He will never leave us. We only have to reach out and He will be there. But the one sure thing is that we will not get there without Him.
We have lifted this blog up in prayer and the Lord is the one that will lead us forward.

I’m impressed and inspired!! What a perfect introduction for this ministry!! I just hope all who see and read what is written by any of us, will feel the love and peace you have come to know through all the trials and tribulations. This is an AWESOME group and Flip Flip, you do us proud!!

May we never forget who Christ really is to us..
He loves us, lived and died for us, rose again, forgives us, gives us hope, and seeks our good..We must go to Him to simply praise His holy Name.

We celebrated my son Adam’s life on what would have been his 28th birthday yesterday on Sunday, September 19, 2010. It was wonderful to gather friends and family in his honor and it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon for the occasion. I did some research on the morning of Adam’s birthday and discovered something that I think is significant and beautiful – and, humorous too – on the very day, September 19, 1982, of his birth – there was another very special creation – because that day at Cornell University the smiley face was introduced on a discussion board for the very first time. So, I think it is appropriate for remembering Adam because those of us who knew him cannot think of him without missing his laugh – a deep and very happy chuckle that everyone is looking forward to hearing again in heaven. He might be gone from this earth, but we will have countless smiley faces to remember him by. Maybe that’s why I have always loved those little smiley symbols! : )

Praise God…..my nephew got the report yesterday that the chemo he’s been undergoing for the past 3 months has done it’s job on the tumors in his leg. They have shrunk and no sign of spreading. Now he has to have 30 radiation treatments to finish the job. This has been a difficult journey on the family but they know that God has been right there walking with them and carrying them when the road got too difficult.
