Here is today’s Prayer

Good morning, Friends. Here is today’s prayer…

Holy Spirit,

Thank You for being my Advocate when I need help. Lord, Your sacrifice on the cross gave me hope, love, faith, joy, and peace. Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner saved by grace and that I fall short of Your glory, but this morning I come before Your throne of grace to confess my sins before You, and thank You for forgiveness. Holy Spirit, keep me from the plans that the evil one has for me. Matthew 6:13 NKJV.

When others feel that they can and have a right to attack me, I can stand in peace and know that I have a right to claim Your promise of no condemnation because I am Your child. Romans 8:1 NKJV.

Holy Spirit, sometimes my biggest problem is myself. Often, I feel guilty, become discouraged, or want to give up. Please comfort me now, Jesus, my Advocate. Please free me from my doubts and my self-criticism. Holy Spirit, give me victory in Jesus name. Holy Spirit I pray this not just for me but for my brothers and sisters in Christ. When we falter, we know that You are there. We know that victory is Yours, therefore it is ours too. Holy Spirt, I pledge to follow Your instructions to Joshua. I will remain focused on Your Holy Word. Scripture reminds me that I should speak the word of Your Law from the Book of the Law. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8 NKJV. Hallelujah. Scripture tells me to pray believing. So, Holy Spirit pour down in Your power and might upon my brother, who has cancer and is on His way to his infusion therapy, I pray that the therapy session will be a success and that He will not leave there weak and listless.

Holy Spirit, fall down on my dear sister in Christ sister, whose hubby is having challenges with his heart. As we age, our internal organs begin to deteriorate. But You created them in the first place. So, You and only You really know how to heal them permanently.

Holy Spirit , I pray for Your ministering servant who has served this community for literally decades, either reveal what the doctors need to see so You can guide them in her treatment plan or forgo that altogether and restore her body to the state of wholeness it needs to be for her to be a blessing to her family and a witness to Your healing power. James 5:14-15 NKJV.

*I pray for all of the kingdom workers who are out and about teaching Your Holy Word, and discipling folks into the family of God, and even after they are baptized Bless their efforts abundantly Holy Spirit!

*I pray for Your hands of mercy to touch all Bible Study leaders who are teaching from Your word and according to Your will. Holy Spirit give them the gift of discernment, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of “The Word” so that their teaching comes from the throne of grace and not what they may think.

Holy Spirit I pray that our dear friends who are travelling to their families will be protected as they drive along our highways. The traffic is horrific out there, and everyone seems to be in such a hurry that they are frustrated with each other. Please bring calm to the roads, and patience as people drive. Cover them with Your stealth mode Holy Spirit and get them home safely, in Jesus name.

Holy Spirit as and retired educator, I pray for the children of the USA and our leaders, no matter where they are serving. Both need to listen and learn with a willing spirit. Remind our leaders that absolute power does not reside with them, but with You? Please remind them when they make decisions that will affect the country, and please give them the discernment they need to make the right decisions for the entire country comes only through You. Remind our representatives that they represent us in their roles, no matter where they were elected. Give them a humble spirit and a heart that is genuinely ready to serve us, not themselves.

Holy Spirit, I am so thankful that Jesus is my Advocate and my representative at the throne of Grace, where forgiveness, healing, and strength can be found. Thank You, my Lord Jesus, and my Advocate for never giving up on me. In Your powerful, I pray, Amen.
