Good morning, friends; here is today’s prayer.
Dear Father in Heaven,
I ask You to give me the grace to be a faithful witness for You during times of blessing and to help me remain steadfast in lean and challenging times as well. I pray that I will be a consistent witness for You “in season and out of season,” as Paul encouraged us, convincing, rebuking, and exhorting with all longsuffering and teaching. Thank you for the cross and the resurrection of Jesus, our Savior, which gives us direct access to the throne of grace! 2 Timothy 4:2 NKJV. “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.”
I pray for my family, that they may know, love, and serve You all their lives. Lord, I also pray for my church family and online friends. We are in the fire again, but just as You delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace, You will deliver us today. Daniel 1:6–7;
“Now from among those of the sons of Judah were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. To them the chief of the eunuchs gave names: he gave Daniel the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abed-Nego” Daniel 3:1–6 NKJV.

“Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. And King Nebuchadnezzar sent word to gather together the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. So the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered together for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Then a herald cried aloud: “To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages, that at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, you shall fall down and worship the gold image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up; and whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”
I pray for peace of mind for those who are uncertain about their next steps. I also ask that hateful rhetoric associated with our nation’s leaders will ease, and that You open the eyes of Your children as we read the news, granting them discernment. Lord, help us remember there is only one deliverer, and salvation comes only from You.
Abba, please remind us not to focus on the negative, but to stand on Your promises. Abba, teach us that as a community we can lift our voices in prayer for these special requests, uniting in faith and love. Together, we can bring the needs of our nation before our Heavenly Father, humbly asking for Your healing touch on our land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV.

Remind us, Abba, that we are members of Your family. Where there is doubt, grant reassurance; where there is sorrow, give comfort; where there is an ounce of faith, send hope, love, and joy in abundance. I praise You, Almighty God, for Your unwavering love and mercy. I thank You for the forgiveness and salvation that come only through loving Christ. I pray for the safety of my children and grandchildren, and I pray that their souls will be at peace in You. I pray all this in the sovereign name of our El Shaddai, Amen.
