You Are Not the Only One

Father in Heaven,

This has been a very challenging year so far.  There are days when I wonder if I am staying within your will…then I read your word, and it tells me to believe that you are God and ..that my steps are ordered by you.   Then you confirm that you have set my purpose since the beginning of the world, and no one can change that course!

So I thank you, Lord Jesus, and I praise your holy name! You love deeper than human love. Your love is not conditional and the kind of love that says, “If you are who I want you to be, I will love you. But when you are found wanting, I will tell the world about it!”

I thank you, Father God, for being my judge, not man. I thank you for your grace. I thank you for your mercy..and I give you the praise! I thank you for never abandoning me when I step off course.  You are God, and there is none like you.  You are God, and the whole world should know that.  We know that we are not perfect, yet you still love us! “The Bible says, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8). We are your masterpiece, Father.

Father, I don’t say these things today to gain pity, but I am saying them because I know that there is at least one person who will read this who is in need of encouragement.  The world and their friends have beaten up on them so much that they are beginning to wonder if you still live in them.  

Well, Father, I  know that you do, and it is just an attack from the enemy.  Please, Father, let that someone know that they are not alone. They have brothers and sisters in Christ who are praying for them daily. Let them feel your will’s strength and your love’s warmth as you wrap your arms around them. Let them know that when they fall off the path that you have placed them on, you will pick them up! Let them see the multitude of Angels who are fighting our battles in heavenlies just like Elisha and Gehazi! Thank you for the strength to live as you would have us live, Father.  And give us the grace to be to others as you are to us, AMEN!
