God is with us. Walk in your freedom in Christ.

Have a God blessed Tuesday, my friends. But he does declare that his promises are true and he will deliver us from our troubles. Be encouraged. Walk in your freedom in Christ.

Psalm 34:11-22 NIV

11 Come, my children, listen to me;  I will teach you the fear of the Lord. 12 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, 13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.14 Turn from evil and do good;  seek peace and pursue it.

We tend to pursue every and anything that puts peace in our lives. We want to have what we want to have even if it means being inhuman to others who are seeking the same things. Did your country begin because people went there to seek refuge from poverty, injustice, continual war, and no safety for their children? Or because they were experiencing unbelievable religious persecution? Or as a big country in this world, the original European occupants were sent there because it was a penal colony? It doesn’t matter why, the point is in 2021 everyone wants what every country wanted when it first started to form itself. Emotional, spiritual, and religious security are basic needs of all human beings. We are told in this psalm that when we truly seek God to establish a relationship with him we will feel that realize that sense of security and peace.

15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;
16 but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. 18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

God is our rescuer. His eyes are NEVER looking at something and someone any second of the day. He watches over us 24/7/365. Yes, I know that sounds weird. But remember that God transcends time and space and he does not have the limitations that we have as human beings. He does not have the type of vision that we have. We can only see so far. He is not limited to that. We can only listen to one person at a time. He does not have that limitation. He understands ALL languages = he is n to language deficient. He does not need an interpreter.

19 The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;
20 he protects all his bones; not one of them will be broken.21 Evil will slay the wicked;
    the foes of the righteous will be condemned. 22 The Lord will rescue his servants;
    no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned
.

I have seen memes online that tell people they will NEVER have a problem, any sickness, or troubles when they come to know the Lord. That is NOT the case. Just read the scriptures above. It clearly states that the righteous person will have challenges. But what? The Lord will deliver them from all of them. He will only need to protect us from broken bones if we are actually in physical danger. And yes the righteous will have enemies. But God will protect you.

Lord, I thank you for your hand of protection over my life. I have had near misses, physical challenges that have put others in the grave and you have healed me. You have sustained me through illnesses and have planted my feet on solid ground. The biggest blessing in my life is the healing of my soul. The cleansing of my soul. The gift of salvation. I will never cease to praise you Lord. I pray that you will use me to tell my story to whoever will listen and that you will be glorified through all of it. Amen.
