Dear Lord, may your Holy Spirit speak to the hearts of your called out ones.
May He show us how to be as graceful to others as you are to us.
May He direct our thoughts, words, lips, and fingers.
May He show us that our commission is more important than our position.
May He show us once again that we pledged our allegiance to the Lamb who was slain.
May He remind us that declaring your love, forgiveness, and grace is more important than supporting our perceptions of any race.
May we once again shine as lights of your love in this pitch-black world.
We have become so used to the blackness and groping in the dark that we think it is normal.
Forgive us for what we have become and turn us around with your love – amen.
