At this time of the year, we seem to forget why Christ came. He came so that all of humanity could become “children of God!” He is the only door to God. Not any other person or religious leader can bring you to the throne of grace. Grace is huge. It is a benefit of knowing Jesus that we can only receive from Jesus. He is the portal to the Kingdom of Heaven. The door to eternal life.
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the door: by me, if any man enters in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:7, 9-10 KJV, slightly paraphrased.
