Gratitude Day # 21 I am grateful for this priceless gift…

#PricelessGift I am grateful for this priceless gift that made me a Bride of Christ and then gave me the largest family in the world. I am looking forward to the day when we all meet each other!

Within the context of the Scripture, one notices that the gift is received if we believe

15that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal Life. 16For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Jo 3:15-17…Berean Study Bibl

John 3:18 Explains the importance of belief in this gift. “Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” John reiterates belief and the consequences of disbelief in John 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.” John also confirms the immensity of God’s love for humanity when he repeated what Christ said  in John 6:40 For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” The thread of belief is proffered many times in the Gospel of John.

In John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies.” Paul who is also known as Saul expressed the price of the gift in Romans 5:8 “But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” [It is Priceless in a human sense because we could not pay the price for eternal life ourselves.] Back to the original reference of Abraham. Paul knew the Hebrew text and its importance to the prophetic event.  In Romans 8:32 Paul stated: “He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?” Why? Ephesians 2:4  But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy.

I am so grateful for this gift that when I think of it-it bring me to tears. I do not deserve it.
