May 21, 2011 Did you reboot your world today?

While most of the world was in an uproar today, the children of Christ went about their business as usual. Or at least this child of Christ did. My great-nieces and I made a simply scrumptious cake. My niece made tacos. We said Grace and had a delicious meal. And my niece made my day! She is going to attend church and Sunday school with me and my nieces tomorrow! Another prayer answered! I have prayed for the last several months that she would agree to go and tonight she did! Thank you Father for answered prayers.
How did you spend the day? Was your world rebooted or did you go about your business as usual? Tell me about it, please.

Today I did normal things. The only abnormal thing I did was NOT go to marathon training this morning. There was a reason. I was dry heaving @ 4:30 AM. Also watched as husband and kids painted his bathroom (master), and then cooked husband, son, and adopted sons (not legally, just by love) chicken breasts, lentils, and fresh corn on the cob. Cleaned all that mess from cooking, washed infinite loads of laundry, and folded all the clothes. Managed to put a few things in the give away bag, or the bag I place clothes, shoes, etc., in to give to local charities. Started a grocery list, received directions to find lights and robe hooks for master bath, delayed that until tomorrow, and procrastinated about adding needed dates to the calendar, making a to-do list for next week, and clipping coupons. I did wonder about the end of the world, knowing what the Bible says about the predictions of such. No man knows. None. I admit, it was about 7:21 PM when I realized the end did not come and then I wondered if I was left behind…ha! ha! That’s what I did today.

Glad you liked it Corrie. Lot’s of good stuff to read and think about on this site.

And again the children of Christ went about their daily business that God has put before them. Praise be to the Lord. All Glory goes to God! Thank you for sharing.
    God Bless you both.
