Good morning, friends. Here is today’s prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your generosity and kindness to me.

I look to You as the perfect example of love and generosity. Following Paul’s encouragement in 2 Corinthians 9:7, I strive to be more giving. “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” https://biblehub.com/2_corinthians/9-7.htm

Abba, let us rejoice in this act of giving, because it brings joy to both the giver and the receiver. Hallelujah! Abba, because of Your Holy Spirit within me and the gifts of the Spirit, I can learn to love, live, and give generously. 1 Peter 4:10 NKJV

Your love can transform even the most difficult situations into peace. I take comfort in knowing that Your Spirit guides me in my journey of generosity. Never allow me to provide stingily, whether with my talents, gifts, or love for my neighbor. Abba, keep this in the forefront of all I do so I may be a living example of how You would handle situations. When I am wronged or shunned by others, help me love the person as You do. In Matthew 12:24 NKJV,

You didn’t call the Pharisees names when they outrageously called You“the prince of demons.” Abba, I know this is hard to do, and one’s flesh will rear its ugly head to get even with the person, but You did not! Help me show love and patience in all circumstances, following Your example of grace. Your love means being willing to lay down one’s life for others, and treating people the way You treated them when You were here on earth. Dear Heavenly Father, please show me how to willingly give my life for others in acts of love and generosity. Guide me so I always acknowledge You as Lord of my life and serve Your mission. Help me die to myself and live as Your presence on earth.  II Corinthians 9:6-15.

Abba, I want to be a friend who speaks truth into others’ lives, even when they are wrong or difficult. Why? Because, Glory to God, You are both of those things to me. Lord, I thank You! Open my eyes to giving opportunities around me. This could be helping a neighbor in need, volunteering at a shelter, loving the unlovable, or giving to charity. Please lead me to give generously from what You have entrusted to me. Abba, lead us all to be active in our communities, spreading love and kindness wherever we go. As a group, let us share ways we can give or serve together this week to foster unity and promote the practical application of this prayer. May this communal spirit guide us in being Your hands and feet in the world. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 1 Corinthians 13:4 NKJV: Love suffers long and is kind

When I invest in a family outing, write a note to a friend, or volunteer at church or in ministry, I feel Your blessing. Psalm 145:18. Lord, tell me what You desire in each situation. Prompt me and inspire me to act according to Your will.

Lord, I pray these things for myself, my children, and their children, my brothers and sisters in Christ, the children in our schools, and this nation. Dear God, let our children know You intimately, so Your love and joy will be with them. Instill in them a spirit of generosity and a heart open to faith, so they may grow to be lights in the world, sharing Your love and goodness. Help them not to fear even in tough times, as we give glory to Your name. Our nation needs to know You are God, and that there are consequences for our behavior toward each other. I pray these things in the name of ‘Yeshua HaMashiach’ – our Anointed Savior, amen.
