PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Good morning, friends; here is today’s prayer...

Dear Abba in Heaven, Please help me to never be found lacking in integrity. Please “…consider my enemies, for they are many, And they hate me with cruel hatred. Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You. Redeem [Your children], O [Adonai,] out of all [their] troubles!” Psalm 25:19-21 NKJV.

Abba, I pray that You continue the work of transformation in my life and draw me closer to You, so that I will live rightly and holy before You. Please help me to always be a person full of integrity. Help me to have undivided devotion to You. Please help me adhere firmly to my faith and Christian values. Please, Abba, help me practice biblical ethics and be of sound mind and character. Heavenly Father, I earnestly pray for my loved ones that each one will come to know You more and more, love, follow, and serve You. Help me exemplify Christ-like love and character so that the people I encounter will know the God I serve and that He sent Jesus to save them. Abba, we live lives that are focused on people, places, and things, and on what all three of those things can do for us. We have forgotten that godly love is the key to true happiness.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this, the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:7-12 NKJV

Abba, not only should we love one another, but we should love and be thankful for all of the things that You have created for us to use and enjoy on this earth. That means taking care of it and not destroying it for the sake of more money. Remind us each day, Abba, that we have a commission from you to take care of this earth. Genesis 2:15 NKJV.

Thank You, my Lord and my God, for your unwavering love and guidance in my life. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

QUOTE: “God certainly does care about the way we treat the earth. He created it, and He has entrusted its care to us. After God created Adam, the first human, the Bible says He ‘took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it’ (Genesis 2:15). If we don’t take care of the environment, who will? … You and I are called to be good stewards of the world God created.” —Billy Graham #EarthDay
