Dear Lord God Omnipotent,

Today, I approach Your throne of mercy and grace, and I lift my hands toward Heaven, praying that You will help me to be Your ambassador of peace and love to everyone I meet. 1 Timothy 2:8 NKJV. Abba, peace is an elusive concept that we often struggle to understand. True peace comes only from You, Abba. We cannot manufacture it. We cannot force it to happen. We cannot arrive at it through military might and or power. Civilizations have risen and fallen, employing military strategies. Humanity’s version of peace never lasts. John 16:33 NKJV.

Abba, may Your banner of love and peace wave over my life so that others will know that I belong to You and so that You receive all of the glory, honor, and praise for anything in my life that is good. Song of Solomon 2:4 NKJV.

I know You bring love and joy into my life, and I am a better person because of YOU. Please help me share Your passion for Your creation with all others. Lord, please help me share Your love with children who do not know You. I pray that children everywhere will come to know and love You. The school year has begun for many of our children, Lord. I pray that Your hands of protection will lay over them this and every day—protect them from human traffickers who will haunt them at their bus stops. Job 24:9, Nehemiah 5:5, and Joel 3:3 NKJV.

Protect them from adults in their community who do not love You, Lord. Open their minds to wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, and please help them be prepared and ready to learn daily. I love You, Lord, and trust You with my grandchildren’s lives. I want them to know that Faith, hope, and love are real! In the loving name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
