You Are Not the Only One

Dear Heavenly Father, My Abba, protector and provider.

Your Holy Bible teaches that “faith without works is dead.” James 2:26 NKJV. Father, please ignite in me the passion and inspiration to step out of my comfort zone and actively share my faith, not just in words but in deeds.

Abba, I have no wisdom of my own, so I ask for your guidance every second of each day because you give it liberally and without reproach. James 1:5 NKJV

I don’t want to keep the good news of Jesus and His gift of eternal life to myself. I deeply empathize with those who have yet to experience Your divine love. I yearn to share Your love, grace, mercy, and salvation with everyone as Jesus commands us to tell the world about Him and His love for humanity. Mark 16:15 NKJV.

I want to show and tell others what You have done for me. Give me the right words to say to show that my faith is genuine so that others will be drawn to You. Abba, Father, please forgive me for not representing You well.

Abba, I want my life to be a testimony that Christians can be strong and active in their Christian faith and witness. Abba, I know that my righteousness is worthless, or as Isaiah said, “Nothing and less than Nothing” life of mine to live — for Your glory and the sake of those who need Your love and salvation. Isaiah 41:27-49 NKJV.

Abba, I know that this good news is not about my holiness; I have none. It is not about my righteousness; I have one. It’s not about my goodness; I have none. But it is about me being Your hands and feet on earth. In essence, being God’s hands and feet on earth is about living out our faith through practical acts of love and service, reflecting God’s character to the world around us. 1 Peter 4:10 NKJV

Give me the strength that I need to live for You, just as our brothers and sisters in the NT church did. In the faithful name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
