Good morning, my dear BROTHERS AND SISTERS, bound by our shared faith, I am grateful for your presence and support. Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Father God,
Thank You for the gift of another day. As I wake up, I find myself grappling with life’s challenges. I’m reminded of the words of our Savior, Jesus, who encourages us to take each day as it comes without worrying about the future. These words from Matthew 6:31-34 remind us that God is aware of our needs and will provide for us, so we should focus on seeking His kingdom and righteousness. Holy Spirit, remind me that worrying solves nothing and that You have a solution for all of my problems. Nothing happens before its time.
Right now, I will lift up all my worries and concerns for you. You are the all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present, Almighty God. Please grant me Your peace, grace, and wisdom for today. Lord, I also pray for the people in this world who are struggling, who are living in poverty, who are trapped in unhappy homes, who are suffering in abusive situations, who are battling poor health, who are facing family challenges, and who are enduring other tumultuous trials. Please surround them with Your love, healing them and restoring their strength. John 14:27; Deuteronomy 15:7-11
Let them feel Your care and know that You are God and will give them Your peace, as Yahweh Shalom promises. No peace in this world matches the peace that comes from you, Abba. Now, all we have to do is believe that You have given us perfect peace.
Then our hearts will not be troubled nor afraid. It has been a challenging month for many of us. We have lost loved ones to one disease or another. Abba, I have to constantly remind myself that Your peace is everlasting. Fear solves nothing and presents itself in our bodies as disease. Thank you for Your perfect peace. . In the triumphant name of Jesus, we pray, Amen. Philippians 4:6-7
