You Are Not the Only One

Good morning, Friends; today’s prayer is a personal devotion seeking spiritual enlightenment and guidance from our Abba.

Dear Abba,

Please awaken me each morning and open my ears to hear from You. Thank you for giving me the tongue of the learned so that I know how to speak a word in season to the weary. You awaken me each day to hear from You through Your Holy Word. I will not be rebellious and turn away from my sweet communion with you. Isaiah 50:4-5.

My Abba, I genuinely want to be able to say what Isaiah said by living it, and mean it. I yearn to spend precious moments receiving Your divine instructions and wisdom through Your Holy Word, engaging in heartfelt conversations with You in prayer, and eagerly awaiting Your Holy Spirit to counsel and guide me.

Abba, please bring Your Word to my remembrance so that I can share it with the weary, downtrodden, marginalized, hopeless, and folks who are dying from a lack of knowledge about You and do not know their purpose in life. Abba, please use me as Your voice in our world where people want their ears tickled by anything but Your holy word. Please guide my steps each day and allow me to be a living testament of Your loving guidance and tender mercies because I am not perfect, and You do not expect Your children to be perfect. You want us to worship You in spirit and truth and trust You to deliver us from ourselves. Psalms 103:3-8

Abba, it is the time of the year when our young people are launching into the next phase of their lives. I plead the blood of Jesus over Your called-out ones. Abba, speak into the hearts of those who do not know You and guide them into the loving relationship that You designed for them to have since before the foundations of this earth.

Abba, for the high schoolers about to conclude their school experience, I pray that they will experience Your power and Glory in a mighty, life-changing way. Lord, we know that the college years are when our young people will either be a living example of Your Holy Word or succumb to the enemy’s wiles and fall to the wayside. In the name of Jesus, I pray that You will keep them sheltered under the shadow of Your wings, Abba.

Speak life, truth, love, and peace into their hearts through the CRU programs on their campuses. It is hard to be different in a world where everyone wants to “fit in.” But Abba, these are Your lights of love, whom we have sent into the darkness of this world, and WE need You to remind them that they should ALWAYS WEAR the armor of God as they protect their spirits during their periods of spiritual warfare. Show them how to share Your Word and become vessels of Your love and light in this world. Abba, please hide Your Word in their hearts so that they will remember it and not be rebellious, and Your Word will be a constant guide in their lives. Abba, I plead this very same prayer for all of us. If ever this world needed to hear the straight truth of Your Holy Word, it is now. Give Your Children the boldness to speak Your truth to all who will listen to us and see the light of Your love. Psalm 119:105

Thank You, Lord, for all of Your blessings, past, present, and future. Thank you for Your divine protection and provision. In the holy name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
