Scripture references the most pivotal event in the history of humanity. God came down to earth and became flesh and blood like us. But He did not stop there. He allowed himself to be heated, bruised, battered, and murdered on our behalf. Then, like Jonah, he arose again. But unlike Jonah, he became the Savior of humankind.
