Genesis 1:1-3 (NKJV) In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”

Romans 1:20 ”For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”

Stop and think about this ball of clay. Now give thanks for it’s beauty and God’s creative power.

Hebrews 11:3 (NKJV) “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Scientific theory will not prove that God created all things. This takes an act of faith. Looking for more ways to understand God’s creation? Watch ‘The Case for Creation’ right now on Great American Pure Flix.

Psalm 8:1 NKJV “O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!” King David spoke continually about the majesty and splendor of Yahweh!

John 1:3 NKJV ” All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made.” John 1 dispels any doubts about who and what Christ was and is. In this gospel, we read about Yahweh’s authority over all things that were created.

Isaiah 45:12 NKJV “I have made the earth, And created man on it. I—My hands—stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded.”God ALSO MADE EVERYTHING THAT WE CAN SEE — including the sky, the clouds, the sun, and the stars. Then God placed man in charge of it all.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV: “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”

This scripture reminds us that God’s timing is different from our concept of time. Bible verses about God’s creation reminds us that “no one can fathom what God has done.”

Job 12:7 NKJV “But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they“But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they will tell you; Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; And the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know That the hand of the Lord has done this, 10 In whose hand is the [a]life of every living thing, And the breath of [b]all mankind?”

We can look all around us, wherever we are, and find God’s handiwork in nature. His hand is in every creature we see, landscape, body of water, or mountain range we visit. When we learn to appreciate nature, we open our eyes more and more to the majesty and beauty of finding God in all of creation.

Colossians 1:16 NKJV “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

When we choose to have faith and believe in God’s authority over all of creation, we can see the awesomeness of it all.

Genesis 2:9 (NKJV) “And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

We are in awe when we look at the trees that God created. This awe is extended to everything that we can envision.

Matthew 6:28-29 (NKJV): “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

It’s so easy to get swept up into all of life’s and all the trials and tribulations. But we are not the only being to experience, loos, trials, and tribulations. Read the entire Book of Job – use the links at the bottom of each chapter to add to your understanding of this great book. (video) to grasp how minuscule many of our trials are. What strikes me the most about this book is the fact that Job did not sin, in that he is not longing for HIS own death so he can be reconnected to his family. He lost his health, wealth, social standing, and prominence.

This is a video that will help you garner a lot from this book.

These Bible verses about nature remind us of some powerful realities.

  • God created everything we see.
  • The Lord created everything we see in nature out of blackness and nothingness.
  • God has the kind of power that creates stunningly beautiful things.
  • Everything we see in creation points back to Yahweh.
  • Take a few minutes to marvel at the wonders God created.
