“I have told you these things so that in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer…I have overcome the world.” (John 16:1-33)
As long as we are in this flesh living in this sin filled world we will have trials, tribulations, and challenges. Whether they are financial, physical, emotional, or psychological they will continue to exist. The difference between us and the unsaved is how we handle those trials, tribulations, and challenges. WHY?
Jesus is here–here not in the world, or in the church or in our homes, but ”TAKE YOUR HAND AND PLACE IT OVER YOUR HEART–now say he is here! He overcame trials, tribulations, challenges, and worries. He took residence in our hearts when we accepted him. He is victorious SO, we are victorious! We are over-comers, we are winners, we are his people to whom he has promised perfect peace. Our worries, anxieties, and challenges are overcoming us and are manifesting themselves in the form of physical and psychological ailments. Just remember that we are victorious when the enemy tries to take you back to the cross to pick up the things that you laid there. HE has given us his “ perfect peace and confidence”. Shall we embrace it today?
