I so remember the day her sister, Sissy and I picked out this marker. I looked at several that said “Wyn” on them, but none said Wyn as strongly as this one did!! I remember talking to her cousin after we had paid for the stone and before we could even tell her what it looked like she told us “I dreamt it would have an angel on it”!! And, so it did!!
Due to the rains in TX the year Wyn died, it took awhile for the ground to dry enough to actually put the stone in place. It was however in place before her birthday that year!! Anyone who goes to see it should bring purple flowers as that is the color Wyn loved so much!! And, we made sure there is a vase to hold whatever someone brings!! I have yet to go see her grave other than the day we ordered the stone, as it still hurts so much to know she is gone. Wynette was God’s Prayer Warrior here on earth until He took her home to be with Him!!

I am glad that we were able to do this for our dear sweet friend Jeleane. She remains in my heart for sure!
