You Are Not the Only One

Father God,
the shortest verse in the Bible tells me that “Jesus wept.” Do I make You weep? I don’t want to make You weep. I want to please You and make You happy. Please, open my eyes and show me the things in my life that make You sad, the sin that may be in my life, sin to which I have become blind. Show me the little things, the big things. Show me Your glory and help me to see myself in Your eyes, as Isaiah did when he cried out, “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips.” Please forgive me. Thank you, my loving God, for Your grace. In Jesus’ name I pray,
