Love is an action verb!

So we sing this song, but we must live it.
WHY? Because we shame The Word when we do otherwise!
If we cannot stand to look at each other here on earth, how can we rule with Him in the New Jerusalem? Oh, Revelation defines what type of person will rule will Him in His kingdom.

Agape love is always associated with the love of God and once in a while, it occurs when in a relational sense.  The Greek word agape is not a common phrase in Greek-speaking societies but in the NT, it appears 320 times.
Scriptural references to agape love: To grasp the magnitude of the Scripture Replace the word “love” for agape

  1. 1 John 4:8
  2. Romans 5:5
  3. John 10:17
  4. 2 Peter 1: 7

Paul defined love in 1 Corinthians 13. Note that each definition declares our spiritual state if we do not have love-agape love.

1If I speak in the tonguesa of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,b but do not have love, I gain nothing.4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (

Why am I harping on love so much? Because it separates us from the ungodly. It defines us as human beings. Because it appears that our “agape” love meter has been smashed to smithereens and we are not aware of it. Where love dwells, division, confusion, and hatred cannot exist. So, pray with me. God help us… forgive us because our LOVE is not demonstrable as Your Love for Us. AMEN!

He protests us!

In my daily Bible Study I came across this verse and literally the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. Did I truly understand what this Scripture is telling me?

“No weapons formed against [me} shall prosper.” No matter what the enemy has planned against me, not matter who he uses to complete his plan of action against me It will not come about because God – the El Shaddai – will not allow them to do it.

“and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.” We live in a world where folks appear to believe that if they think it they should speak it too. It doesn’t matter if “it” happens to be the truth of not. But God’s word gives me a guarantee – He gives all of us a guarantee – you see this study is not just about me. It is for all of us who are called by the eternal to be His children. His ambassadors here on this ball of clay.  This is not a glib promise by a human being. It is a promise by YHWH.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.  This is our heritage given to us by The Elohim. Psalms 112:3 declares “Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever.” We were made righteous when we accepted Christ as our personal Savior.

Our present blessings from our Father.

The  New American Standard Bible states 13“All your sons will be taught of the LORD; And the well-being of your sons will be great. 14“In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror,f or it will not come near you. 15“If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you.…” (Isa 54:14). So, my dear brothers and sisters know that you are safe. Wear your armor when you enter into battle. Keep the breastplate of righteousness firmly protecting your spiritual vital organs and trust Him to protect you.

CHORUS: No weapon formed against me shall prosper, it wont work. (repeat)
GOD will do what he said he will do he will stand by his word, he will come through (chorus repeats) no weapon formed against me shall prosper, it wont work.(repeat)
GOD will do what he said he will do, he’s not a man ,that he should lie he will come through say (chorus repeats)
oh, I wont be afraid of the arrows by day from the hand of my enemy. I will stand my ground with the LORD on my side for the snares they have set will not succeed.
CHORUS: No weapon formed against me shall prosper, it wont work. (repeat)

Do not fear

The Great Multitude!!

Everytime that we share the Gospel we are adding to the Great Multitude of people mentioned in this Scripture. Our weekly Family Reunion is our weekly shot in the arm to prepare us for what we should be doing during the week and to encourage us to grow to love God and love people better.

Our Present Sufferings..

Come Lord Jesus Come~~~

The bride of Christ awaits the return of her groom. Until that day we are not expected to just sit and wait. We should be sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

In Christianity, the Gospel (Greek: εὐαγγέλιον euangélion; Old English: gospel), or the Good News, is the news of the coming of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:14-15), and of Jesus‘s death on the cross and resurrection to restore people’s relationship with God (Wikipedia).

The Wycliffe Bible Encyclopedia offers this summary of the gospel message:

The central truth of the gospel is that God has provided a way of salvation for men through the gift of His son to the world. He suffered as a sacrifice for sin, overcame death, and now offers a share in His triumph to all who will accept it. The gospel is good news because it is a gift of God, not something that must be earned by penance or by self-improvement (Jn 3:16Rom 5:8–11II Cor 5:14–19Tit 2:11–14). (1)

The basic premise of the Gospel is contained in  In 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, the  Paul presents the details of the gospel message, namely, the death, burial, resurrection, and appearances of the resurrected Christ.  Paul details four clauses introduced by the word “that” in verses 3-5 below:

15:1 Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel that I preached to you,

  1. that you received and on which you stand, 15:2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 15:3 For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received—
  2. that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, 15:4 and
  3.  that he was buried, and
  4. that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures, 15:5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve…(2)

So we share the simplicity of why Christ came, how he lived, died, rose again, and open the channel of direct communication between God and man while we are looking forward to the day when He returns to reclaim the earth and erase hated, division and strife from our lives.  Unforgiveness is one of the worse sins that we could possibly commit.  As a nation, we are suffering relationally because of this sin. So, the only way to end it is true acceptance of Christ and living a life of love while waiting for HIm to return and clean up the mess we have made of this world! Even so come Lord Jesus come.

Seek Him 1st!

#WhatIsMostImportantToMe gets my attention first thing in the morning when I open my eyes. So, is God the first person with whom I connect each morning or is He something that fills in an empty spot on my schedule?  When I love someone one I want to talk to them each day, or connect in some way with them so they know that I am here and thinking about them. When I rely on someone for guidance I keep in touch with them.  When I have a mentor we regular touch base to make sure that I am staying on track. So, if my human relationships are more important than my relationship with the El Shaddai that tells me that He is not as important to me – relationally as my human relationships.

He must be first in my daily life and sometimes I simply fail in this area. He does remind me – through the Holy Spirit – that we have not had our time together yet. He is very forgiving. He loves me with an everlasting love and wants to communicate with me.

Do I live in awe of Him?

There are no words that can describe His incomparable majesty and holiness. There are times when I wonder why He called me when I was a teenager. I am astonished at His hand of protection over my lifespan. The miracles that happened in my life just because He loves me unconditionally. I ask myself each day if I am living in awe of Him? Not dreadful fear. Not the kind of consternation that says I am waiting for the next shoe to drop, but simply am I putting Him first in my life? Am I talking to HIm as I should? Am I respecting Him in  His majesty and allowing Him to speak to me through His word? Seek him, and fear Him for He is the Lord God Almighty.

He alone is Holy!

His grace is greater:Grace and Peace to you!

I was like the prodigal who wanted his own way
So I left my loving Father to see what sin would pay
I had broken God’s commandments
Rebelled against His will
Until I turned to Jesus
And found He loved me still
I found that His grace was greater
His grace was greater
When I was overcome by sin I just looked to Him
And found that His grace was greater His grace was greater
God’s grace amazing grace Was greater
Oh the shame that filled my heart
Knowing I was wrong
All the guilt I kept inside me
Had haunted me so long
But He reached to me in mercy
And drew me to His light
His love and great compassion
Made me feel precious in His sight
I found that His grace was greater
His grace was greater
When I was overcome by sin I just looked to Him
And found that His grace was greater
His grace was greater
God’s grace amazing grace
Amazing Grace How sweet the sound
His grace was greater
His grace was greater
When I was overcome by sin I just looked to Him
And found that His grace was greater
His grace was greater
God’s grace amazing grace
Amazing grace was greater
